It was great to join @ncdot.bsky.social’s annual Transportation Sumit to discuss the upcoming Surface Transportation Reauthorization bill, which will help decide how much money Congress will provide our communities for highway, transit, rail, biking, and pedestrian infrastructure.

It was great to meet with @autismspeaks.org advocates to discuss how Congress can better support caregivers and people living with autism.

I joined my @usprogressives.bsky.social colleagues in denouncing OpenAI's firing of whistleblowers. OpenAI claims they were fired because they mishandled information, but the firings came after the researchers raised concerns about new AI architecture possibly making AI harder to control.

This is a good summary for this Administration. A young adult asks our Vice President about rising homeownership costs and his response is about other people’s body parts.

I had the opportunity to meet with the Refugee Support Center to discuss how Congress can better support the Banyamulenge people and other refugees escaping persecution in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
